X36 Prologue:

Begins here. A little prologue I did early on.

  1. An Introduction to why the AI programs were started.
  2. SPARTANs 301 and 678 are on a mission to retrieve an AI from an old research centre. But Sonata [the AI] has other ideas.
  3. Both SPARTANs attacked by mysterious soldier. Both make a run for it.
  4. Sonata succeeds in killing both men. Prologue Ends.

X36 Chapter 1:

You start here. Finishes at 15.

  1. Sonata jumps into SPARTAN 678’s armour and takes off in a Warthog
  2. Partial flashback. Memories from 678 begin to fragment Sonata’s data structure. Nevertheless she continues her plot and contacts the SPARTAN’s ship, posing as 678.
  3. Fragmentations are revealed to have come from the armour’s failsafe against unwilling AI contact. A Hornet is on approach to pick up 678.
  4. Sonata attacks the Hornet, and hijacks it for her own. She jams transmissions between the UNSC Vox Populi which is overhead and the airman to cover her tracks.
  5. A small introduction to X36’s protagonist…X36.
  6. X36 is released from captivity by the Administrator. Taken to the AI subcommitie PHOENIX.
  7. Our protagonist is introduced to PHOENIX. Sentancing begins.
  8. Monologue of who and why PHOENIX is.
  9. X36 valiantly fights his way out of PHOENIX’s grasp.
  10. The Colonel and her Mercenary assistant make good time in an attack on an ONI base on Tellelon.
  11. X36 loads Testament into his head and learns of the coming danger while the Colonel is betrayed.
  12. Josh, the Colonel’s ex-Mercenary, races from the compound.
  13. X36 is lured into Blair and Josh’s trap. He is cornered by both of them.
  14. X is down as Blair shoots him to the ground. Blair also recovers Testament in the process.
  15. PHOENIX reawakens to find that ‘Doctor’ Blair has left him a briefing package concerning X.

X36 Chapter 2:

  1. Julius investigates the PHOENIX program in its infancy and reports all is well.
  2. On Serpentis, during the Great War, PHOENIX’s weapon goes into practise on the frontlines.
  3. Immortal, an Elite warrior on a path of furious revenge, is introduced.
  4. A young AI, Providence, confronts X in an old memory. Escaping from the SOURCE program, X takes out an ultrasoldier prototype, Private Heinz.
  5. Blair captures an old Forerunner manufacturing AI and puts it to work in a grenade with the power of a NOVA bomb. His objective is the destruction of Tellelon.
  6. X36 reawakens on Blair’s ship, the Infamy where Testament is being repaired after what the ‘Directive’ did to her.
  7. In a far away system, X36 jumps from the Infamy on a mission of unknown objectives.
  8. Blair uncovers bodies all over the region, in MJOLNIR armour. In a helmet camera he sees one of the soldiers accessing a helmet camera feed and discovers one of the soldiers activated a Forerunner relic. It is revealed that the bodies were thousands of years old.
  9. X36 and Blair go underground to uncover a hidden temple, Red Team hatch a plan and Immortal finds an Oracle and ends his hunt for Blair.
  10. In the Temple, Sergeant Heinz of Red Team finds X36 and Blair. Confronting them he tries to kill them before the Architect activates and teleports the pair away. Immortal silences Heinz shortly afterwards. Seperated from X, Blair lands with Immortal and the Elite’s revenge begins.
