X36

THE STORY SO FAR:

X36 is a webcomic set after the Human-Covenant War. The Elites have ripped themselves apart, which led to the intervention by a mysterious entity that rendered them nothing but mindless goons. Most of the former colonies are destoryed and so the Humans have been forced to look for other such places to inhabit. They found the Relics, all of the mysterious structures and installations the Forerunners left behind. There is constant conflict as the last of the people left on Earth and the remaining Colonies try to gain access to the Relics. The UNSC is almost entirely operation out of a Halo Ring, known as Haven 05 and are casting a blind eye to the poverty that is taking place all over their empire.

The SPARTAN IV program was introduced to oppress the masses building up on the UNSC’s front door. Brainwashed, indoctrinated and enhanced, the SPARTAN IV graduates were unstoppable. However, their programs were not bulletproof. SPARTAN X36 resisted the treatment, but before his Instructors found him, SOURCE did. The SOURCE program was dedicated to unlocking certian aspects of human genetics. They needed the best of the best of the SPARTAN program to carry out their experiments. X36 qualified and was te only SPARTAN that aided the program.

However, he failed them when they needed him the most. On a routine inspection he remembered a split second of his previous life, and he slipped into a comma when he was scheduled to show the UNSC brass how much progress SOURCE were making. The program was closed, and the SPARTAN was outcast by the UNSC to a small world known as Tellelon, a desert colony inhabited mostly by Criminals and Insurgents. This is where X36 picks up.
