Hi people. I have decided to save the finale for later, else there would be a 15/16 page issue here and it would be a bit too big. Anyways, this is a ‘collision’ of two issues. If you read the prologue (just don’t) you’ll know that two SPARTANs were dispatched to an old research centre to recover a rogue AI after a PMC went missing inside. The PMC’s armour was hijacked by the AI (called Sonata) and she eliminate the two soldiers. Then she took said armour, and ran off to an overhead UNSC ship, disguised as the SPARTAN.
However, things went wrong. The armour’s failsafes activated and started cracking up the synthetic memory locations in the armour and mixing them in with the AI’s. The synthetic locations contained fragments of the SPARTAN’s mind that help him speed up his reactions. This created a slight mulitiple personality disorder, and somehow the SPARTAN’s damaged mind got him to a privately owned Earth hospital.
Long story short, he has a seizure, Julius from C2 Issue 1 is called in to help secretly. Julius decides to get to the nearest uplink to ‘the source of the mess’ with the Doctor but they are ambushed by Immortal. Julius and Immortal team up while X and the Colonel are hunted in Immortal’s old home.
